Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson and Yandel attended the HBO Latino VIP preview of new concert special celebrating urban Latino music superstar Yandel at Center 548 in New York City.


The event also summoned appearances by a myriad of celebrities and social media influencers, including Yandel’s long-time friend and collaborator, 50 Cent, who supported by sponsoring the event with his new line of ultra-premium vodka, EFFEN. The event was attended by a bevy of talents including Latino screen stars J.W. Cortes (Gotham); actor Kareem Savinon (“The Girl Is In Trouble”- Exec. Produced by Spike Lee); Director, Ulysses Terrero; Model, Denise Bidot (Target, Levi’s) and tropical music sensation, Bachata Heightz. Additional event partners included Heineken and Red Bull, enjoyed by over 250 VIP guests.

HBO LATINO, HBO’s dedicated Spanish-language premium channel, announces the highly-anticipated, Yandel: Legacy-De Lider a Leyenda Tour acquired from Sony Music Latin is a presentation of HBO Latino Concerts, premiering Friday, April 10th at 8PM ET/7CT. The special, Yandel: Camino al Concierto, will air at 7:30PM ET/6:30PM CT leading up to the concert.



Filmed in Puerto Rico last fall, it captures the essence of Yandel’s sizzling new solo act surrounding his landmark performance at the famed José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. Watch the internationally recognized star explode with euphoric energy, igniting the stage with reggaetón anthems from his multiplatinum-selling discography. Fellow trailblazing Urban Latino talents Wisin, Tego Calderón and Farruko, in addition to tropical music icon Gilberto Santa Rosa are featured musicians who make cameos in support of his concert preparation.



After two decades of award-winning reggaetón dominance, Yandel now joins the elite group of HBO Latino Concerts special subjects, which include Carlos Santana (Live it to Believe it, Live From Mexico), Thalia (Viva Tour En Vivo), Romeo Santos (The King Stays King) and Reik (En Vivo Desde El Auditorio Nacional), to bring the channel it’s first installment representing the popular Urban Latino genre.
