Madame Tong's

For those visiting the New York City area this summer, the top destination is of course…The Hamptons. However, even to the most discerning traveler, deciding where to go in the area may still seem a daunting endeavor. Now the Hamptons will be a walk in the park or perhaps the beach. From only the best at the Kobe Beach House in Easthampton to Madame Tong’s in Southampton, here is the best of the Hamptons to keep your summer calendars filled.

Dining Southampton

An evening in Southampton may be spent wining and dining at high end restaurants that offer second to none service and delicacies; perhaps Savanna’s, one of the Hamptons favorite spots for its laid back atmosphere and understated class. The new American Cuisine by chef, Jason Melton is ideal for warm summer evenings, and the exclusive bar scene is a literal who’s who of Hamptons society. If it is celebrity sightings one craves then Nello Summertimes is the perfect location. Take a seat on the outdoor patio and be entertained by the A-listers strutting through the door to enjoy this Hamptons hotspot. The younger Hamptons VIP scenesters flock to Jean Luc’s Madame Tongs to enjoy the Asian inspired cuisine which excites the palette and satisfies the appetite. The hottest new DJs assemble from the Big Apple to this summer’s retreat to play the best music to the Hamptons crowds.

After nights of decadent dining, Hamptonites make appointments with celebrity trainer Radu at his gym, Radu’s Southampton Super Gymnasium and Fitness Club. He holds daily group classes to keep Hamptonites’ beach bodies fit and trim and schedules private appointments months in advance. After a good workout, clients may retreat upstairs to the spa featuring exclusive treatments to rejuvenate those tired muscles.

Shopping Southampton

There is a plethora of choices as to where one may shop in Southampton. Biba Boutique has a reputation as being one of the Hamptons premier fashion boutiques. Carrying all the newest designers and now boasting a menswear section, Biba has everything the Hamptons man or women needs to accomplish that summer chic look. This year Southampton also witnessed the opening of Albright Samples, the new boutique offers designer wares at below sample sale prices. The apparel has been slightly worn before either on the red carpet, in a film or on an album cover, and once one starlet has worn it, another can’t, yet the Hamptonites in the know can and they do.
