BENIHANA KING ROCKY AOKI DIES AT AGE 69

Benihana founder and former Japanese Olympic wrestler Hiroaki ‘Rocky’ Aoki has died. Rocky emigrated to the United States and founded the very successful restaurant chain.He passed away on Thursday, according to a spokesperson for his company. No cause of death has been given, but he was known to suffer from diabetes and hepatitis C, which he contracted from a blood transfusion. Aoki is survived by widow Keiko, 2 and Fast 2 Furious actress Devon and record boss son Steve.
Editors Note: Rocky, as his friends called him was a funny man. I met him many times in the past 20 years. He was always joking and always had class. He used to be a staple around New York City. He will be missed.
