ELTON JOHN’s dream of building a lavish art gallery in his home in Berkshire england is in doubt after a council official blasted the plans.The 60-year-old musician proposed a design containing a 180 foot (55 meters) building on his property to display his extensive collection of rare photographs and paintings. However Malcolm Beer, a councilor for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, opposes the plans.He says, "The appearance of the proposed gallery seems to be architecturally confused."
