David Bowie According to the Memphis Mafia's LAMAR FIKE, in his forthcoming memoir, AN UNCOMMON JOURNEY: ON ELVIS PRESLEY BOULEVARD (co-written with celebrity-bio man MARK BEGO), "In 1976, David's then-wife Angela Bowie, visited us all at the now-defunct International in Las Vegas, and she brought with her a song David had written especially for Elvis, 'The Prettiest Star'. She was a bit under the weather so she didn't get to stay for the show, but gave me the song to give to Elvis. We were terrifically excited to get something from one of the new emerging acts on the music scene. Elvis was always very much aware of the next thing, and, at that point it was Bowie." Fike has also written a film treatment to accompany the book entitled '57-60: One of the Boys.' "The screenplay is out to a several film companies in N. Y. and L. A. I expect we'll be able to announce a deal in 90 days."

Celene Dion Pop singer celine Dion is hitting back after she was named and shamed by water authorities in Florida and is insisting her massive water usage was down to a broken pipe.The singing icon was criticized for using up over 6.5 million gallons at her Miami Florida home, with officials claiming Dion used more water than any other resident in the United States. But now Dion’s representatives are insisting that the excessive $36,343.13 bill was caused by a burst water main underneath her mansion. The pipe was reportedly damaged in May 2007 when the previous home on the site was demolished to make way for Dion’s luxurious Jupiter Island complex. But the star only realized something was amiss when she was landed with massive costs from her local water utility provider. Dion’s lawyer Michael Weeks says, "Except for a few new trees that need heavy watering, barely any landscaping was done during that time. Teen superstar Miley Cyrus is expecting her phone to ring this Saturday night after an unnamed ex-boyfriend sees the debut of her new angry video. In 7 Things, the Hannah Montana star takes aim at the guy who broke her heart, and she enlisted the help of movie maker Brett Ratner to help her get her message across in the new video. Cyrus claims writing the song was "a good little therapy moment" for her, admitting "the word hate could describe how angry I was." Speaking on Los Angeles California's DJ Ryan Seacrest’s hit radio show this morning, Cyrus said, "That’s Miley going through, like, 900 emotions while I’m trying to write a song." In a post on his MobyGratis website, the singer is reaching out to amateur filmmakers to come up with video ideas for his new song Ooh Yeah. Moby has offered to pay $10,000 to the winning videomaker. Reality show star Corey Feldman was very flattered when Playboy icon Hugh Hefner asked his wife to pose naked for him, and he insisted she did it totally free. Hefner contacted his longtime friend directly to ask for permission to approach his wife Susie with a Playboy deal, and Feldman took no time to agree. He tells In Touch magazine, "When Hugh Hefner asked us himself, it was very moving. Hef has been a friend for a long time, and he was at our wedding. It was hard to say no."Being that it was art, we didn’t want to make it a business thing, so she basically did it for free." And Feldman admits he’s thrilled with the end results, which will appear in the upcoming August issue of Playboy: "I’m very proud. She’s a beautiful girl and deserves to be worshipped." But not to worry, she was only helping to support actor Elijah Wood's pet charity "Rebel Rebel" presented by The Art of Elysium at Milk Gallery before joining her boyfriend, Albert Hammond, Jr. Agyness is riding an Electra Bike. The Art of Elysium, a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization founded in 1997, encourages working actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to children who are battling serious medical conditions. They provide artistic workshops in the following disciplines: acting, art, comedy, fashion, music, radio, songwriting and creative writing. American football icon Michael Strahan is confirming that he’s dating comic Eddie Murphy's ex Nicole. The former New York Giants star is even considering a wedding to the ex-Mrs.Murphy, who divorced the funnyman in 2006 after 13 years of marriage.Twice-divorced Strahan tells In Touch magazine, "I could get married again. Could I marry Nicole? Yes! We’ll see what happens." We wish the new happy couple the very best. We just wonder how anyone could stay married to Eddie Murphy for so many years. Nicole deserves a nice guy and it looks like she has found one.

Jason Bateman Hollywood actor Jason Bateman got mean on the live music show MTV TRL yesterday, when he called Hancock co-star Charlize Theron a "dirty bitch".The star lashed out during a pop quiz, during which Theron had to guess whether Bateman or fellow co-star Will Smith matched the descriptions she was given. And when she incorrectly guessed Smith was once named People magazine’s Sexiest Boy to Man, Bateman put the censors on high alert with his fake outrage. After the insult, Smith burst out laughing, while TRL host Lynsey Rodriguez cringed, saying, "Awkward, awkward," and quickly moved on to the next question.

Former reality show star Nicole Richie is convinced she owes her life to her new baby daughter Harlow, only because she would have spiralled out of control if she hadn’t become pregnant. Nicole was a regular on the Los Angeles California party scene before she became pregnant last year and she had several brushes with the law including a drink driving conviction. And Richie is sure that if she hadn’t become a mother in last January, she would have become a victim to drinking and drug addictions that often ravage young stars before their time. She tells the British magazine New, "I never took life seriously before. I’m in a completely different place now. I owe my baby my life."I have a responsibility now. I have to really be someone I want my child to look up to. I’d really like to show how much I appreciate the fact that I’m still here, because I almost didn’t get the chance."
