CNN'S TAKE ON ROSEANNE BARR ABC has cancelled the revival “Roseanne.” The move comes after series star Roseanne Barr made a comment on Twitter Tuesday morning referring to former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett as the offspring of the “Muslim Brotherhood & Planet of the Apes.” Jarrett, an African-American, was born in Iran to American parents. “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said in a statement. Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger voiced his support for the cancellation, tweeting “There was only one thing to do here, and that was the right thing.” Before the cancellation Wanda Sykes, who worked as a consulting producer on the first revival season, announced she would not be returning for the show’s next season. Nutty Roseanne Barr Roseanne Barr And Her Nut Stand Roseanne Barr has returned to television. The star is giving Lifetime viewers a special reality TV look into her life and her nut farm. "Roseanne's Nuts" premiered the other night, but first Roseanne stopped by New York City's Chelsea to show the media her nuts. After abandoning Los Angeles, the Emmy award-winning actress has left the mainland for Hawaii, where she's managing a 40-acre macadamia and livestock farm. Tom Arnold Hollywood funnyman Tom Arnold has married his fourth wife Ashley Groussman in a ceremony in Maui. The happy couple exchanged vows on the Hawaiian island on Saturday at the home of Hollywood music and talent manager Shep Gordon, according to People.com . They were joined by 75 family members and close friends, including Dax Shepard, who served as the actor's best man. The newlyweds were engaged in March at Arnold's 50th birthday bash. Arnold spent a year single after ending his six-year marriage to Shelby Roos in August 2008. He has also been married to make-up artist Julie Champnella and actress Roseanne Barr. The other night Public Relations powerhouse Claire O'Connor invited Blond Ambition author Rita Cosby down to Comix Comedy Club at 353 West 14th street , to catch Roseanne Barr in a surprise performance. And of course Times Square Gossip just happened to be there. But the real surprise came when out of the audience former View co-host Rosie O'Donnell jumped onstage for a little Barbara Walters bashing. Rosie started off by saying, "When I was fired by Barbara Walters" - the first time she didn't stick to "The View's" spin that her departure from the show was by mutual agreement.
