Harding  ****   Jared Leto Award Season Off And Running --- With several critics associations already announcing their favorites movies of 2013; the BAFTA awards being announced, the People’s Choice Awards on CBS airing, and the Golden Globes airing this weekend; the so-called awards season in Hollywood is off and running. The critic’s choices are most always interesting as they predict remarkably well what will be the big choices for the Academy Awards (on March 2); which, by the way, the final documents from Academy members are due last night. The choices so far are the usual suspects including, Christian Bale, Leo DiCaprio, Jonah Hall, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lawrence, Matthew McConaughey, and, Jared Leto … and, are all justified. Harding **** Lady Gaga Gaga at Roseland --- Somehow it’s fitting that Artpop-babe Lady Gaga will play the final performances at NYC’s Roseland: When the famed Ballroom shuts its doors this April, it will certainly go out in style. Gaga will close out the venue with a string of four concerts -- on March 28, 30, 31 and April 2 -- it was announced last week. The 3,500-seat theater is a big undersell for Gaga, as fans will get to see the New York native in much smaller confines than normal. Members of the her fan community LittleMonsters.com will have the first crack at presale tickets; randomly selected members will receive invitations and codes to purchase tickets this Thursday. Again, what a tragedy for this fabled venue; but, at least it will exit with a scream, rather than a whimper. Hollywood star and rocker Jared Leto was asked to leave the ruins of the famous New York club CBGBs recently just before he attempted to steal posters off the walls.The sexy star was walking past the legendary venue as demolition experts were in the process of tearing the club down, and he decided to go in and take a last look. But Leto stood around for too long, and when workmen noticed him in among the rubble he was asked to move on. Leto says, "I walked inside thinking I was gonna rip some posters off the wall."Some guy came in next to me and he had on an old leather jacket and you could tell he used to hang there. Elijah Wood had a fight with Jared Leto on Wednesday night it has been reported. The Lord of the Rings star exchanged words with the Fight Club actor at the MTV U Woodie Awards resulting in Leto trying to punch him.
