**** TIMES SQUARE GOSSIP TELEVISION **** Jeff Foxworthy GSN announced today that it has signed comedian Jeff Foxworthy to host the pilot of the network’s original one-hour game show, THE AMERICAN BIBLE CHALLENGE. GSN, which is currently developing the series, will shoot the pilot later this month. THE AMERICAN BIBLE CHALLENGE is a studio-based game show in which contestants compete based on their knowledge of the Bible. Questions will be designed to acknowledge and celebrate the Bible’s continuing importance in contemporary life and culture. The contestants will share their compelling back stories and each team will be playing for a worthy faith-based organization. "I am excited to be hosting a show about the bestselling book of all time. Former troubled star Lindsay lohan is at the center of a sex tape scandal, after footage emerged allegedly showing the actress performing a sex act on Irish model Calum Best. The 21-year-old rehab actress, dated the son of British soccer legend George Best last year, and, according to British tabloid The Sun, the video was leaked on the internet after Calum sent the clip to "close friends". Representatives for both Lohan and Best have refused to confirm or deny the existence of the sex tape. It would be nice if Lindsay was not famous already, this would help her career. Stand-up comedian Richard Jeni, who was a frequent guest on the popular Tonight Show and appeared in several films, has died in an apparent suicide. Los Angeles police said a woman called on Saturday and reported her boyfriend had "just shot himself in the face". Police officers found Jeni, 49, alive but fatally wounded in a West Hollywood home. He died later in hospital. Police spokeswoman Norma Eisenman said suicide had not been officially confirmed. An autopsy is due on Monday. Jeni appeared in The Mask as Jim Carrey's best friend and had roles in several other films including The Aristocrats, Burn, Hollywood, Burn and National Lampoon's Dad's Week Off. Courtney Love has been invited to be a judge on 'American Idol'.The former Hole singer has revealed the hit TV shows executive producer Nigel Lythgoe called her last week to ask if she'd be interested in joining Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson on the judging panel. Courtney told Us Weekly magazine: "He called. He was wondering if I was interested. I thought it was kind of weird but brilliant."It is not known if Courtney will be joining the existing three judges to choose America's next singing sensation, or if Lythgoe is considering replacing Paula.
