Gillian Anderson Actress Gillian Anderson stopped by HuffPost Live to talk about her new NBC show Crisis and squashed the rumors of a romance with her X-Files co-star David Duchovny that swirled after the two appeared on multiple magazine covers together last year. Despite denying the possibility of a relationship, she admitted that there was an “attraction” between the two former co-stars. On her relationship with David Duchovny: Anderson : "Now that it's over, I can tell you, no...It's a nice idea, but it's not going to happen.” Anderson: "I think we know each other too well. I think we probably know each other better than we know our spouses at any time that we might have had spouses...There is an attraction. There might even be more than an attraction, but it's not going to happen. And it's that frisson that has made it interesting in the series and continues to make it interesting."

"Gillian Anderson and her partner Mark Griffiths have amicably separated after six years together," a rep for the actress, 43, tells Us Weekly exclusively. The duo, who never wed, share sons Oscar, 5, and Felix, 3. The X-Files and House of Mirth actress has been married twice before. She and film art director Clyde Kotz, with whom she shares daughter Piper, 17, divorced in 1997; the star and documentarian Julian Ozanne were married for two years before parting ways in 2006. Following her role as Miss Havisham in a 2011 PBS miniseries adaptation of Great Expectations, Anderson has a full slate of projects in 2012: the films Mr. Morgan's Last Love, I'll Follow You Down and The Curse of the Buxom Strumpet, plus BBC miniseries The Fall. Pregnant television star Gillian Anderson will not rule out marriage again, even though she has two failed ones behind her.The former X-Files star wed Clyde Klotz, a production designer on the hit sci-fi show, in 1994, but they divorced soon after in 1997. She then married businessman Julian Ozanne in 2004, but the couple split in 2006. And she admits it is "weird" to be a double divorcee by the age of 39. She tells Britain’s Esquire magazine, "I can actually say the words ‘my second husband’ and that is so weird. I don’t feel like I’m old enough (to have two failed marriages). And it didn’t work twice, so is marriage in and of itself part of my downfall? "I liked that feeling initially. It felt wonderful and solid and wholesome.But you can only live for the moment and, based on the information that you have, do your best." GILLIAN ANDERSON GETS HER DREAM ROLE

Former X-Files star Gillian Anderson has finally gotten funding for her dream role, she will produce and star in a film about legendary war correspondent Martha Gellhorn. The 39-year-old actress has long been an admirer of Ernest Hemingway’s ex-wife, who died in 1998, and her production company recently acquired the rights to the biography Gellhorn: A Twentieth Century Life. But despite initial difficulties finding a backer with money for the project, Anderson has now reportedly been given the green light for the movie. A source tells the British newspaper the Daily Express, "Gillian has been desperate to play this role. We were beginning to wonder whether it would ever happen. Gillian has rarely been so excited about a part." The bio-pic will reportedly begin production sometime next year after the star gives birth to her third child with husband Mark Griffiths. Gillian Anderson claims she was forced to appear in 'The X-Files' against her will. The flame-haired actress claims she didn't enjoying starring in the show that catapulted her to fame and only stayed on the series for nine years because she had to. Gillian - who played Special Agent Scully in the show - told Stella magazine: "I couldn't get out of it. I didn't have a choice. I had to sign a contract for five-and-a-half-years before I even went to my first audition - when I didn't know if I'd got the part. Back then I was all innocent and I thought, 'Wow that sounds wonderful.' "But then, when I started, I realised I'd be in a Canadian wood working 16 hours a day for nine months a year. And the reason I stayed so long was because the only way I could get more money was to commit myself to doing it for another couple of years." Gillian Anderson's estranged husband Julian Ozanne is set to demand a paternity test when the actress' baby is born.The 'X Files' star split from photojournalist and filmmaker Ozanne in April, after being married for less than two years. Just three months later Anderson - who already has an 11-year-old daughter,Piper, from her first marriage to Canadian television art director Clyde Klotz, which ended in 1996 - announced she was expecting a baby with wheel-clamping firm director Mark Griffiths. Ozanne is not convinced the baby is definitely Griffiths' and is set to ask for a paternity test as soon as the tot enters the world in just a few weeks time. A source told Britain's Mail On Sunday newspaper: "The split has been very hard for them both, but Julian has not ruled out the possibility he might be the father.
