Gerald Butler Wonderwall had a great piece on Gerard Butler where he opens up about his relationship with his father which also includes comments he made exclusively to Wonderwall on the discovery that he had a half-brother living in Canada. In spite of its subject matter -- dragon-riding Vikings -- Gerard Butler's latest film, "How to Train Your Dragon 2," hits surprisingly close to home for the 44-year-old actor. The Scottish star apparently sees a bit of his own family history in the relationship between Hiccup, the film's protagonist, and his fictional family. "I've got to tell you: my father -- I didn't see my father for 14 years. I didn't even know he was alive. And he turned up out of the blue," Gerard said at a press conference during the lead-up to the film's release.
