**** Riese Organization Opens 1000th Restaurant In Union Square **** Gary Trimarche With Jennifer Falk, Micah Kellner And James Rosenzweig, Esq Manhattan Bourough President Scott Stringer joined officials of the Riese Organization and Union Square Partnership upon opening of America's newest TGI Fridays and its 1000th location worldwide. The American institution was founded 45 years ago on New York City's Upper East Side and now is a global phenomenon with restaurants in over 61 countries throughout the world. A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place today at 34 Union Square East (corner of 16th St.). This new, state-of-the-art TGI Friday's will offer local community events and hold charitable events throughout the year. **** REISE RESTAURANTS GIVES BIG TO CITY MEALS ON WHEELS **** Dennis Reise Presents Check New York City City Meals On Wheels Executive Director Marcia Stein joined Dennis Reise of the Reise Organization as he welcomed the staff of TGI Fridays, Carvel, Nedicks, Taco Bell, Tad's Steaks, Tim Hortons, Pizza Hut, Caruso's Pizza, KFC Kentucky Fried Chicken, Charlie O's, Hawaiian Tropic, Falafel King and others in a donation of 100,000 dollars to the charity at Charley O's on 8th Avenue. The charity assists the frail and elderly in New York City. They were thanked by the organization for providing almost 500,000 meals in recent years to those seniors in need of food and nutrition. City-meals-on-Wheels raises private funds to ensure no home bound elderly New Yorker will ever go a day without food or human company. Last year, the family of contributors helped us bring over 2.2 million nutritious meals to 18,065 frail aged in every borough of New York City.
