Christina Applegate Broadway and television star Christina Applegate is engaged to marry musician Martyn Lenoble. Applegate's spokesperson, Ame Van Iden, said Friday that the happy pair became betrothed on Valentine's Day. This will be the second marriage for both Christina and the rocker. No wedding date has been set as of yet. Applegate's recent credits include TV's "Samantha Who?" and the movie "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel." Christina Applegate Broadway and Television star Christina Applegate is planning a return to the great white way after four years of making her debut in New York City. The talented actress is admitting she has wanted to return to theatre since she was in Sweet Charity, which earned her a Tony Award nomination for best actress in a musical. And while she’s currently filming her television comedy Samantha Who? in Los Angeles California, Applegate is insisting on returning to the Broadway stage. The star feels New York City is her other home. She says, "I’ve always felt so safe and good here. I felt like myself. I want to come back here and do some Broadway. Hollywood star and breast cancer survivor Christina Applegate will undergo reconstructive surgery at the end of this month, around her 37th birthday.The Married With Children actress who turns another year older on November 25th, had a double mastectomy last July after she was diagnosed with the life threatening disease. But Applegate refuses to get depressed about her health situation preferring instead to use her own experience to raise awareness about breast cancer. Brave Christina Applegate Cancer fighter Christina Applegate will continue shooting her television show "Samantha Who?" as she undergoes reconstructive breast surgery following a double mastectomy. The Married With Children star revealed on Tuesday she had both breasts removed after being diagnosed with cancer last month. Applegate, who was given the all clear following the operation, is now scheduled to undergo painful reconstructive surgery over the next eight months. A spokesperson for the star insists she will be "on a normal shooting schedule," adding that the procedure "is not affecting production." The actress had already completed five episodes for the new season of the hit comedy before stopping for a summer break at the end of June. Television icon Suzanne Somers has voiced her support for Hollywood star Christina Applegate as she battles with breast cancer, by writing an open letter written to the actress. Applegate, 36, announced the news of her illness last Saturday, with her spokesperson adding that she is expected to make a full recovery once she completes her treatment.
