Arriving in London six years ago, Carlos Almada had a vision to create a venue with New York style for international trendsetters;“It’s all about New Yorkers,” Almada explains. Today, Carlos has successfully created two hip London venues that are always buzzing with star power! Automat serves delicious yet classics fares ranging from Mac & Cheese to imported Nebraska USDA grade beef. Almada, located on the same property but on Berkeley Street, is a fine dining silver service restaurant that blends a 1920s New York style with ‘old school’ California glamour. The venue, which transforms into a nightclub as the evening approaches, has been host to British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman, British Fashion Council chairman Harold Tillman, designers Christopher Kane, Charlotte Dellal, Richard Nicoll and Jonathan Saunders, as well as Samantha Cameron, Daisy Lowe and Christopher Bailey.
