Former child movie star and now reality television actor Corey Feldman, blames his parents for pushing him into acting at an young age, and he holds them responsible for his very troubled life. The Goonies star was thrust into the limelight at age 3 when he starred in a McDonald's fast food commercial and appeared in a string of television shows and movies. He struggled to cope with being in the public eye at such a young age, and later battled drug problems and the pain of being abused as a child. And he claims his parents were at fault for encouraging his Hollywood career and not allowing him to have a normal childhood like everyone else. Feldman tells Britain's Metro.co.uk, "It wasn't the industry's fault, it was my parents'. They should have been more responsible and laid the groundwork for me to build a healthy adult life."I was fortunate enough to continue my career but that's due to my tireless dedication. Without my perseverance I wouldn't have made it. I was 17 and already I'd become a joke to some people."As with everything in life you're measured by your achievements and people like to point out your failures. Everyone recognized me so I couldn't just get a job at the local Blockbuster. It was a very difficult time."
