Megan Hilty The PATH Fund’s Donnie Kehr has announced the list of additional performers for their annual benefit concert on Monday, November 17 at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street) in New York City; Rockers On Broadway – Teen Idols, which this year honors Frankie Valli and Micky Dolenz with Lifetime Achievement Awards; and, radio-personality Cousin Bruce Morrow with the Ambassador of Rock Award. The additional performers include Megan Hilty (NBC’s Smash, 9 to5, Wicked); Courtney Reed (Aladdin, In The Heights) as well as Lilli Cooper (Wicked, Spring Awakening); Joe Cassidy (If/Then, Catch Me if You Can); Brian Gallagher (Jekyll & Hyde); Eric Michael Krop (Godspell); Tracy McDowell (Motown, Rent); and Ryann Redmond (If/Then, Bring It On). Harding   ****   Jane Fonda Sam Waterston NEWSROOM  --- Aaron Sorkin’s much heralded The Newsroom (on HBO) began its sophomore season last night with somewhat mixed results. Borrowing a device from his Social Network movie, the first images are of several cast members recalling an earlier event. In plain English, that means he’s setting us up for a rather surreal (I bet) flash back; with each cast member revealing what happened in their own way. A bit tricky, but a great way to reveal the same event in several ways. Producer Maggie (Alison Pill) first look is with a rather, severe, somewhat twisted-pink haircut; a far cry from her rather demure look last season … certainly to be told is the reveal. Either you're a fan of Sorkin’s Democratic-prose, or you're not. I am and even thought this first episode had moments that dragged a bit … I loved it. Megan Hilty In Las Vegas Megan Hilty And Boyfriend Brian Megan Hilty, star of NBC's hit series "Smash," escaped to The Palazzo Las Vegas today for a weekend of relaxation with beau, Brian, by her side. The Broadway sensation checked in on The Palazzo's 23rd floor private Prestige concierge level before heading to her luxurious two-bedroom Lago Suite. The two grabbed lunch at FIRST Food & Bar before heading down to the resort's posh day club, Azure, where they were joined by friends. The two enjoyed poolside cuisine by Wolfgang Puck including fish tacos, tuna tataki and a caprese salad before taking a dip in the Azure waters and lounging in their cabana.
