The show, begun in the shadows of 9/11 and featuring the brilliant Keifer Sutherland, had become a victim of time and viewers-ever changing tastes. The blogs featured impassioned responses from fans, some either championing the imminent cancellation after all these years, while others decrying the possible fate and wishing for just one more season to suitably tie everything up. Keifer Sutherland Fox television show 24 has been voted the most addictive series of all time, according to a new online poll. More than 3,000 television and movie fans have placed 24, which stars Keifer Sutherland as federal agent Jack Bauer, on the top of a list of the most drawn too shows ever. The television program, which has been on the air since 2001, took the title of ‘Most Addictive’ garnenishing 19 per cent of the votes in the survey by LoveFilm.com . Keifer Sutherland now toasts Julia Roberts Kiefer Sutherland has forgiven Julia for leaving him for his best friend. Roberts ran off with actor Jason Patric just days before she was due to marry the '24' star 16 years ago. Sutherland, 40, said: "I commend Julia for seeing how young and silly we were, even as painful and difficult as it was." But he was not in such forgiving mood when it came to his 'Lost Boys' co-star Patric, adding: "We were friends. I never got a call." Kiefer, son of acting legend Donald Sutherland, left his wife and children to move in with Roberts just months after meeting her on the set of 1990 movie 'Flatliners'.
