  Jean Shafiroff And Marilyn Maye Josh Gladstone And Donna Rubin The curtain rose on what promises to be an unforgettable summer of song as Hamptons Summer Songbook by the Sea launched its 2025 season with legendary cabaret star Marilyn Maye in a special Independence Weekend celebration at LTV Studios in East Hampton.   Southampton Inn The Southampton Inn will welcome star of “The View,” comedian, and playwright Joy Behar along with Emmy-award winning producer, comedian, and writer Angela LaGreca with musical director Lenny Babbish and actor/writer Randy Hemming as they host a special salon for creators.  Lenny Babbish and Randy Hemming will also join on Saturday, May 17th at 5:00pm for an evening showcasing local talent to entertainment industry icons as they display works in progress, music, and stories. Surprise guests are also anticipated to join along for a night of fun and artistic mischief.  Tickets to attend the artist’s salon are $20 at the door with offerings from a cash bar. A press representative for the morning show "The View" has been forced to deny media rumors that of an off-set feud between co-hosts Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Joy Behar. The relationship between the couple, famed for their heated on-air debates over their political views, has reportedly become so strained that they have been involved in screaming matches backstage.According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the animosity between the pair "has gotten so ugly, they only speak on air or when a camera is anywhere in their vicinity." The rumors stem from the pair's angry conversations about the forthcoming presidential elections. Hasselbeck is a staunch Republican and John McCain supporter, while Behar is backing Democratic candidate Barack Obama.
