Former Hole singer Courtney Love has been diagnosed with malnutrition, and she is blaming the stress of her ongoing fraud case for her huge weight loss.Courtney ignited fears for her health after she was photographed looking very skinny the past few months. The star is admitting that she has a real problem with her weight after doctors diagnosed her with malnutrition last month. Courtney tells Britain's Grazia magazine, "I know I've got too skinny. I know those pictures of me are going everywhere. I know I need to sort it out."I thought I was like 130 pounds, but I'm 118 pounds and I'm five feet 10 inches, that's not good for someone my height. I need to start working out again." Love is also blaming her weak frame on her legal fight with American Express. She has been accused of racking up a $350,000 bill on her credit card and the company's chiefs have filed suit against the star to try and reclaim the money.The 44-year-old insists she didn't spend the cash and has hired a private detective to track down the fraudsters. Love says, "It's the stress. You have no idea what it has been like these last few months. I need to get to the bottom of this fraud, I need answers. I've had to escape Los Angeles, I can't cope there anymore."But Courtney is very adamant she will recover and denies she has body dysmorphia, an obsession with an imaginary physical defect. She adds, "I'm drinking high-calorie shake and almond milk, whey protein and coconut and I just ate a whole croissant. I am eating now! I am going to put on 15 pounds in one month. I do not have body dysmorphia. Seriously, I want to get fatter. You know when I was 192 pounds, I thought I looked hot! I'm serious about putting on weight."

Hollywood friends and family said goodbye to Farrah Fawcett. Ryan O'Neal along with son Redmond joined together for the actress's private funeral yesterday afternoon at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles California. Joan Collins along with Tatum O'Neal and Marla Maples were among the almost 200 guests attending the Catholic service, where longtime friend Alana Stewart and Farrah's doctor Lawrence Piro delivered the eulogies on the Hollywood icon. "Goodbye sweet girl," said Stewart. "[Farrah] never felt sorry for herself during her illness ... she fought cancer furiously." "She's the most beautiful angel in heaven," Stewart added. "She always seemed so indestructible." With city police and private security lining the streets, Ryan and Redmond arrived at the cathedral around 3:50 p.m. and were pallbearers, carrying Fawcett's casket, decorated with yellow and orange flowers into the church. A man played "Amazing Grace" on a bagpipe at the beginning of the service, which also included Bible readings and prayer. Outside the downtown Los Angeles church, a few dozen fans watched as Fawcett's casket was taken inside. Redmond O'Neal, the 24-year-old son of Farrah, was allowed briefly out of jail where he is being held on drugs possession charges to attend the funeral service. Redmond also gave a bible reading. Fawcett died in a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday, at age 62, with O'Neal and Stewart at her side after a long battle to beat anal and then liver cancer.

CHRIS BROWN DENIES BET PERFORMANCE

Troubled singer Chris Brown is denying that he was due to perform at the BET Awards on Sunday night, amid gossip he was dumped over his recent assault case with Rihanna. Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in a court hearing on June 22nd. He got a community service order and five years supervised probation as well as being told to stay away from Rihanna.The singer was allegedly due to take the stage at the BET Awards ceremony in Los Angeles California. But his performance was rumored to have been canned because of his recent legal trouble at the insistence of Rihanna's musical mentor Jay-Z. A source tells the New York Daily News, "Jay is a big name in the BET community, and he was very vocal about his displeasure with Chris attending the ceremony. He didn't want Chris anywhere near the awards so close to the court's ruling."But a spokesman for Brown is denying that he was ever booked to play at the glitzy show.The rep tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "That's not true. He was never confirmed to perform."

I remember asking my parents to buy me the red jacket with glove and sunglasses, which I still have today. He influenced my life, from his music to the way he danced and performed. Michael Jackson will always be the King of Pop. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I met Michael and he told me he had just watched a Disney special I did. I was blown away by the thought of The one and only Michael Jackson sitting there watching me on TV. He then invited me to be in his "Liberian Girl" video. I actually was one of the few who got to sing a little snippet live over his vocal. To say it was an honor is an understatement. At 14, I had the red jacket and glove. I was a huge fan. He was a sweet person and lived up to everything you wanted him to be when you met him. He had a receiving line an hour long before his concert at the Forum. To personally meet so many people and then to be put into his show. The energy he put in was astounding. I don't think it's about the time someone is on earth but the impact they leave. He did more for humanity and for music in 50 years than anyone could. It's a shock and I'm most saddened by the fact that a) I believe there was more music in him and b) he leaves behind three young children. Everyone feels this immeasurable loss. Law And Order: SVU stars Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay have finally ended their months-long contract disagreement with television bosses, after signing two-year deals to remain on the hit show. The couple reportedly jeopardized their return to the show by demanding more money from network bosses. Hargitay and Meloni allegedly asked for a share of the program's profits from the NBC network, in addition to the $350,000 they earned per episode, a rare deal similar to ones TV bosses cut with "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" stars Vincent D'Onofrio and Chris Noth. Media reports in April suggested bosses had threatened to can the couple when their contracts expire in May if an agreement could not be reached, but they have agreed to a new two-year deal. "Law and Order: SVU" has been on the air for 11 years.

I think my show is so different from their show. I got a lot of flack the first season about my kids being on the show, but that was partly because my ex-husband [Charlie Sheen] wasn’t happy about it. With Jon and Kate, it’s honestly none of my business. I don’t know what’s going on with them. I feel for them because to be thrown into the spotlight is very difficult to deal with. Although, I can relate to bad press. What helped me get through it was truly not reading anything. It’s an awful thing to deal with. So, I just put myself in a bubble. I wouldn’t read anything, and I didn’t want to know anything. That way, it didn’t affect me. I didn’t know what was being said or what was going on. All I cared about was my children. I just focused on being a mom and being a good mom. One day I will write a book about it! That’s a promise.


DENISE RICHARDS TALKS ABOUT HER BOOBS:


I won't get any more plastic surgery! It terrifies me. At the time of my breast implants, I was very young and dumb. I’ve since learned that there are so many things a woman can do to enhance herself. They didn’t have those things when I was younger. I couldn’t even buy an A-cup bra in Victoria’s Secret at the time. My roommate had her breasts done, so I stupidly did it without doing much research. So, of course I had some problems and had to have them redone. However, the second doctor ended up putting bigger implants in, and I didn’t want them.


Why?


I have a small frame, and they looked hideous on me. I looked so ridiculous. So, after I finished doing the James Bond movie and my press tour, I went to a different surgeon. He ended up doing an amazing job and made me smaller. I never wanted really big breasts. I’m a size zero, and they just looked funny on my body. I just wanted to fill out a B-cup bra. That was it! But it was the ‘90s, and all the girls were getting big breasts. So, the doctors just assumed that’s what girls wanted, but that wasn’t what I wanted.


Why do women think big is better? I’m talking about breasts.


Well, it is sexier. Boobs and a butt are sexy. You open up any Playboy or any magazine, for that matter, and women look great. They have great hair, they’re skinny, and they have perfect boobs and booty. That’s the image. But what a lot of girls don’t know is what goes into a photo shoot. My boobs are even kind of small now, but you can use pads called cutlets to give yourself more cleavage. There’s ways to enhance yourself without having to go through surgery.


So, if you could go back in time, would you opt to not have any implant surgery?


If I could do it all over, I would not have had anything done. There’re just so many things that you can do to give yourself more cleavage and fill yourself out. But when you’re a teenager, you’re just so fearless. I was young and stupid.


ON DATING AND HEATHER LOCKLEAR:


I would love to get remarried, but I will not go though what I went through with Charlie again. So, I’m not rushing into anything. I’m not looking to hurry up and get remarried. When the time comes, it will.


Are you able to quietly date or is it always news?



I try to keep it as discrete as possible. That’s what I’ve been doing. I do date. I just keep it very, very discrete because I don’t want to deal with the tabloids. I’ve been through relationships splashed all over the papers, and it’s just not fun.


Good segue. How are you and Heather Locklear getting along these days?



Regardless of Richie [Sambora], I would not have been friends with her. That’s one thing some people don’t understand. My friendship was done before Richie and I ever got together. We’re very different people, and we make different choices. Richie was truly a single man when we got together. He was on the road to divorce. I was also on the road to divorce. So, I never broke up their relationship or stole anyone’s husband. She was involved with someone. Even if I didn’t get together with Richie, I wouldn’t have been friends with Heather.


Finally, would you ever make a guest star appearance on “Two and a Half Men”?



Hmm. I don’t know. I never even thought about that. I think his show does fine in the ratings without me. Although, I would like to work with Quentin Tarantino. He invents careers, and he’s a brilliant director. That would be my dream to work with him.

NEVERLAND VIEWING FOR MICHAEL JACKSON

Pop singing star Michael Jackson's worldwide fans will get a chance to pay their final respects to him at a public viewing at his Neverland Valley Ranch on Friday. According to CNN, Jackson's body will arrive on Thursday. There will be a 30-car motorcade to the home that he lived in for almost 20 years. A spokesperson for Jackson also told the news outlet that a private memorial service for the legend will be held on Sunday. There has been no announcement on where Jackson will be buried. On Monday, Jackson's father, Joseph, denied rumors that his son would be buried at Neverland and said that it was too early to talk about funeral plans because the family was still awaiting the results of a second autopsy, that the family ordered. Jackson spent much of his life living in the Los Angeles California area, but the mayor of his hometown of Gary, Indiana has asked the family to consider burying the singer there. A spokesperson for Mayor Rudy Clay told CNN that the city's leader has been in touch with the Jackson family and is hoping that the gritty Midwestern industrial town could be Jackson's final resting place. At the very least, Clay told Chicago radio station WGN, he expects that Jackson's body will be taken to Gary for a memorial service he is planning next week. "I believe that his body will lie in state in Gary, Indiana," Clay said Tuesday. "Now, it may not happen, but I believe it will." That memorial service is slated to take place on July 10th at the city's U.S. Steel Works ballpark and Clay promised that it would be a memorial "fit for the prince of peace and a memorial that's fit for Gary, Indiana's favorite son, the greatest entertainer that ever lived." Should the Jackson family agree to have the singer buried there, a spokesperson for the mayor said the tomb could be near a proposed Jackson family museum and performing arts center that the city has discussed with family patriarch Joseph Jackson. Jackson lived at Neverland from 1988 to 2005. Ownership of the ranch, renamed Sycamore Valley Ranch, was transferred to a company called Colony Capital in 2008 in a deal that allowed Jackson to hold onto the property when Colony agreed to buy the $23.5 million mortgage, according to TMZ. Meanwhile TMZ is also reporting that Michael Jackson was not the biological father of any of his children. And Debbie Rowe is not the biological mother of the two kids she bore for Michael. All three children were conceived in vitro -- outside the womb. Multiple sources deeply connected to the births told TMZ, Michael was not the sperm donor for any of his kids. Debbie's eggs were not used. She was merely the surrogate, and paid well for her services in the births of Michael Jr. and Paris. In the case of Prince Michael II. TMZ was also told the surrogate was never told of the identity who the "receiving parent" was.

Low life Bernard Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison today for fraud against thousands of victims, totaling in the billions. The judge said he needed to send a symbolic message to potential imitators and to victims who demanded harsh punishment. Applause broke out in the packed Manhattan courtroom after U.S. District Judge Denny Chin issued the maximum sentence to the 71-year-old defendant, who said he lives "in a tormented state now, knowing all the pain and suffering I've created." Chin ignored the request by Madoff's lawyer for leniency and said he disagreed that victims of the fraud were seeking mob vengeance."Here the message must be sent that Mr. Madoff's crimes were extraordinarily evil and that this kind of manipulation of the system is not just a bloodless crime that takes place on paper, but one instead that takes a staggering toll," Chin said. The judge said the estimate that Madoff has cost his victims more than $13 billion was conservative because it did not include money from feeder funds. "Objectively speaking, the fraud here was staggering," he said. Madoff gave no reaction when the sentence was announced. When asked by judge Chin whether he had anything to say, Madoff stood, leaned forward on the defense table and spoke for about 10 minutes. He referred to his historic fraud as a "problem," ''an error of judgment" and "a tragic mistake." He claimed he and his wife were tormented, saying she "cries herself to sleep every night, knowing all the pain and suffering I have caused," he said. "That's something I live with, as well." He then looked at the victims in the first row of the court. "I will turn and face you," he said. "I'm sorry. I know that doesn't help you." Prosecutor Lisa Baroni said Madoff deserved a life sentence because he "stole ruthlessly and without remorse." Last week, a judge issued a preliminary $171 billion forfeiture order stripping Madoff of all his personal property, including real estate, investments, and $80 million in assets his wife Ruth had claimed were hers. The order left her with $2.5 million. We think the judge left her with too much. She should feel the pain that her family has put on others. Mrs. Madoff can live quite good on 2.5 million while most of the victims of the scam have lost everything. May this bastard rot in hell !

According to the New York Post, Michael Jackson's oldest son thought his father was kidding around when he collapsed on the living-room floor, but soon stood "in a trance" as Jackson's personal doctor tried to revive him, a family confidant told the newspaper."The horror of it all is that Prince thought his dad was just being his dad and clowning, but it was real, and he watched as they worked on him," said Stacy Brown, a Jackson family biographer who has spoken extensively to the Gloved One's relatives since he died Thursday. "Prince was stunned, in a trance, just watching," Brown said. "There was no movement, just looking around and not really processing what was really happening." Also there were the pop star's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, his longtime friend and one-time manager, Frank DiLeo, and a security guard named Tippy. The NY Post is reporting that morning, Jackson had been packing up his things in preparation to go to London for an upcoming series of 50 concerts there. At around 11:30 a.m., Michael was given a shot of Demerol and soon collapsed on the living-room floor, Brown said. "The security guard and Michael's doctor picked him up and put him on the bed from the living room, and that's when they started CPR," he said. As Murray worked on Jackson, Tippy first called Michael's father, Joseph, in Las Vegas, to tell him something was very wrong. "Joseph screamed at them to call for help," he said. "A huge commotion ensued about why 911 wasn't being called and why he wasn't getting help." Brown says Tippy then called 911. According to the Los Angeles California Fire Department, the call was received at 12:21 p.m. Jackson was rushed to UCLA Medical Center, where doctors shocked his heart and inserted a breathing tube to try to revive him, but were unsuccessful. He was declared dead at 2:26 p.m.

New York has become the first state to permit researchers to pay women up to $10,000 for the “expenses, time, burden and discomfort” of donating their eggs for stem cell research.The Empire State Stem Cell Board (the Board) quietly voted on June 11th to allow funding for egg donation, but no one seemed to notice the story until the Washington Post broke it this week. The Board has $600 million in state funding for stem cell research. That will buy a lot of eggs!The Board issued a statement that read, “On June 11, 2009, the Empire State Stem Cell Board (the “Board”) voted to allow funding of research on stem cell lines derived using eggs (called “oocytes”) donated solely for research purposes where the donor was, or will be, compensated for the expense, time, burden and discomfort associated with the donation process -- within specified limits -- as is currently permitted when women donate oocytes for reproductive purposes in New York State. The Board’s decision followed extensive deliberation that included consideration of the great potential of stem cell research, national and international ethical standards, and mechanisms to safeguard the rights and welfare of oocyte donors. The Board agreed that it is ethical and appropriate for women donating oocytes for research purposes to be compensated in the same manner as women who donate oocytes for reproductive purposes and for such payments to be reimbursable as an allowable expense under NYSTEM contracts.”I guess the reason the media did not realize what was going on because The Board spoke of oocytes and who has that word on their Google alerts?A woman cannot just show up and drop off her basket of eggs and pick up a $10,000 check. The Board did acknowledge that the high payments could unduly influence women to donate but the Board has “previously instituted by contract a number of important safeguards, including requiring full disclosure of all physical and psychological risks associated with oocyte donation, directing that informed consent be obtained through a dynamic process focused on the donor’s comprehension of the information provided, and mandating availability of psychological counseling prior to donation."Men can donate their sperm with little or no psychological counseling, but it is quite easy for a man to perform the actions necessary to fill up a cup with their swimmers; the procedure is not so simple for women and eggs.An unfertilized egg is not a potential human being, so while I am Pro Life, I feel no ethical dilemma in this situation. I would donate in a minute to help scientific research, but unfortunately my eggs are already scrambled.

Last night saw several stars catching rays at TAO Beach. Actor Antonio Sabato, Jr., Aaron Paul of HBO’s Big Love and 90210’s Jessica Lowndes mingled in corner daybeds near the pool, where they sipped mojitos and enjoyed the sounds of DJ Skratchy. Later in the evening celebs from the Hard Bat ping pong tournament journeyed to LAVO. Sabato Jr., Jonathan Schaech, Autumn Reeser and her husband, director Jesse Warren, Brittny Gastineau along her beau Jorge Perez and Rooney front man Robert Schwartzman all dined at a center table in the restaurant. After dinner the group, along with stunning tennis pro Anna Kournikova, who had drinks downstairs in the restaurant with friends, adjourned to the nightclub. Joining the entire group later were Paul and Lowndes, who were spotted dancing to the sounds of DJ Reach.

It was 1988 and Long Island-born Debbie Gibson was the hottest thing since sliced bread. She broke onto the scene in 1986 via her song “Only In My Dreams’, and, by 1988 … was everywhere. We were in L.A. for numerous MTV events and media-ops, and the invitation came down to come see Michael Jackson at L.A.’s Forum. Deb was a huge fan, as was I, and was delighted when I was asked to join in. Quickly ushered into the backstage area … we were escorted in to meet Michael. In a huge room, brightly lit, there was The King Of Pop! He was genuinely delightful … honestly, all these years later I don’t recall what I expected, but he could not have been nicer. His personal photographer at the time, Harrison Funk, shot some photos … and, then we were gone. The one thing I’ll never forget is that as we were brought to a special VIP-area (were Tiffany, of all people, was sitting), Marlon Brando was wheeled in … yes, wheeled in. He was so huge at the time, that he was traveling via wheelchair. Michael Jackson completely changed the record business … and, the excitement he made, created and got from his audience will never be repeated. I think the one thing I can say, one day after, is that we all lived through his music. He will be terrifically missed. They’ll never be another performer like him. He was the real deal!

Actress Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan are engaged after reportedly announcing their marriage plans on the social networking site Facebook.com. Meester has been dating Stan since he appeared on her hit Television show Gossip Girl last year, and now they are ready to make their romance official by exchanging vows. The New York Post's gossip column Page Six claims the stars both changed their relationship status to "engaged" on their online profiles this week, and Meester's representative are fueling the gossip by refusing to comment.This comes in after a sex tape purportedly starring the sexy star, ignited a bidding war between online porn sites, with offers for the video exceeding $1 million.
