I am going to tell you why. His ads are everywhere and read what they say. FROM BROOKLYN FOR BROOKLYN. Every ad I see. Does this guy know that the district (NY7th) also represents Queens AKA Long Island City? I have not seen him once over here and he is campaigning to everyone in Brooklyn and not us here in LIC.

 If he really represents all of us, he would be meeting with the Hunters Point Parks Conservancy, The LIC Partnership and the Hunters Point Civic Association, which I am a member of. Instead all his ads are for Brooklyn. He expects Brooklyn to put him in office and could give a crap about LIC Queens.

 THE CANDIDATES:

Claire Valdez: A Democratic Socialist and current New York State Assembly Member. She has been endorsed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani and the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).
 
Julie Won: A New York City Council Member representing western Queens. She launched her campaign in February 2026, positioning herself as a progressive Democrat with corporate experience.

Problem with Valdez, she just won seat in assembly and not even there one year and 3 months and now she wants congress. Other Potential Candidates: While not officially confirmed as active challengers in all recent reports, Alexander Campagna and Evan Hutchison have also been linked to the race on Ballotpedia.

 I am voting for Julie Won I fully support her. She has done a lot for our community as councilwoman and I can get in touch with her when I need something for our community. Claire needs to do the job she was just elected to do in the Assembly. Antonio is only out for Brooklyn, no way Jose. His posts proves it.

This is why we have to get out and vote in the primary We can not let this guy win, he could give a shit about us over here.
