HAMPTONS POPULAR RESTAURANT 'THE COOP' MERGES WITH UNION BURGER BAR

Fried Chicken With Fries

The incredible demand for the Hamptons most popular ghost kitchen popup, The Coop, has made the foodie favorite gain a permanent home.  Union Burger Bar is proud to announce that in the upcoming weeks the two ventures will merge to create the ultimate dinning destination in the East End.

The Coop concept was the first to make waves in the Hamptons as Southampton residents and tourists alike flocked to the hotspot destination for delightful tastes. Cravings grew and orders continuously stacked from the moment restaurateurs Ian Duke and David Hilty introduced the simply “scrumptious” chicken out of their landmark Southampton Social Club last year.

Customers can expect the same outstanding variety of fried and roasted chicken options that will be available with a wide assortment of first-rate sides. A few items to note that really separate The Coop from others include the classic Fried chicken sandwich; biscuits topped with fried chicken and covered in a rich sausage gravy; and the Fried Chicken Bowl brings mashed potatoes, fried chicken, corn, scallions, cheddar cheese and rich gravy together for a dish best described as comfort food with divine intervention.

The permanent home at Union Burger Bar will now allow guests to dine in and also continue to do take out. Customers can enjoy the menu that The Coop has fantastically curated along with the restaurant’s legendary burger, fries and milk shake options.

“Ultimately I find people always have conflicting perspectives on what they want to eat. What we’re doing is incorporating the best of both worlds - we’re going to have ridiculously great tasting fried chicken and the mashed potatoes with gravy and creamy corn,” Duke states. “But we’re also going to have the healthy roasted chicken with fresh sides like Brussels sprouts and roasted broccoli that are all farm-to-table. The chicken that we’re using is cage-free, antibiotic-free, and hormone-free. So essentially, we’re going to encompass something for everybody.”

In addition, customers can order as many as 100 wings for a party with chef recommendations of Mango Habanero sauce, as well as Louisiana Hot Sauce, Teriyaki and BBQ sauces to go. They also come with homemade bleu cheese, celery and carrots.

The menu also includes a Chicken Caesar Salad and Hamptons Wedge Salad with applewood bacon bits. Altogether, there are a variety of sides to choose from including biscuits, both creamed and fresh corn, honey glazed carrots, mac & cheese, and sweet potato fries. Beverages include ice cream floats, soft drinks, house-made sweetened and unsweetened iced tea, bottled beer, wine and sparkling cocktails.
