Through the generosity of the Hampton Classic, the hospital hosts supporters at VIP tables in the Grand Prix tent. Philanthropist and friend of the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, Joan Hornig, kindly decorated the hospital’s tables in the VIP tent for Grand Prix Sunday. Joan created miniature butterfly gardens, in varying color waves, using flowers freshly cut by Joan from her own garden and incorporating beautiful textiles specially flown in from Ubekistan for the occasion.

The hospital’s partnership with the Classic also offers complimentary entry for all Stony Brook Southampton Hospital employees and includes signage, program ads and a booth in the boutique area to provide information about the hospital’s many services and programs.

Commenting, Robert Chaloner, Chief Administrative Officer of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital says, “The Hampton Classic is a wonderful landmark event in the summer season which brings together so many people from our community to enjoy outstanding sportsmanship and competition.

“We are deeply appreciative of our relationship with the Classic and the contribution they make to our hospital. We are proud to be the only hospital and the sole provider of emergency care on Long Island’s South Fork.”
