The Pioneer Chapter of Hadassah will present philanthropist, activist and author Jean Shafiroff with the 2018 Woman of the Year Award at the 24th Annual Fundraiser Luncheon on Monday, August 6th, 2018 at Oceanbleu at the Bath & Tennis Hotel on Dune Road in Westhampton Beach.

A volunteer fundraiser, leader, and spokesperson for several charitable causes, Jean Shafiroff adds Hadassah to her extensive list of philanthropic efforts and honors. Shafiroff‘s impact improves the lives of underserved populations, women’s rights and well-being, health care, animal welfare, and resources for children in need. It is her passion for the land and people of Israel that has brought her to the forefront of the Jewish community and to receive Hadassah’s highest honor.

Guests at the 24th Annual Woman of the Year Luncheon will enjoy an avant-elegant fashion installation by Carolina Herrera New York. A three-course, gourmet kosher lunch will be served by Regal Caterers. Boutique and silent auctions are open throughout the luncheon’s program starting at 10:30 a.m. The fundraising luncheon benefits the Hadassah Medical Organization, a diverse organization of healthcare professionals and medical researchers dedicated to finding innovative solutions to complex medical problems.

Hadassah, Women’s Zionist Organization of America, Inc. is a volunteer organization committed to strengthening the connection to Israel and Jewish values and continuity in America.
