NEW YORK NY --  A NYC Kentucky Derby viewing party for the 145th "Run for the Roses" was hosted by Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff with mint juleps flowing, food tastings, a fancy hat contest and derby chic outfits, The event is held at Sojourn Restaurant in Manhattan.

The Kentucky Derby is known as "The Most Exciting Two Minutes In

Sports." The first Kentucky Derby race took place in 1875. Last

year, 167,227 fans attended the Derby with millions from around the

world watching on television.
