Legendary singer Julie Wilson has passed away according to sources. The world has lost another icon.
What can I say about Julie Wilson. I loved this woman. For many years we celebrated our birthdays together with Honeymooner star Joyce "Trixie" Randolph. We were all born on the same day, October 21st. Julie's smile always lit up the room and she always wore a flower in her hair, even on a cold winter day. Her singing left you feeling good and feeling sad all at the same time. She would give the audience a show weather in a huge Broadway house or in a little tiny cabaret. My Birthday's were always great because I was celebrating with my friends Julie Wilson and Joyce Randolph. Stacks of celebrities would be there and our celebration would end up on every gossip sheet. I can not tell you how much Julie Wilson is to the history of New York City. May she rest in peace.
