In just a few days, Lance Bass is marrying the man of his dreams, Michael Turchin and E! will be there capturing it all.
On December 20, the happy couple will be sharing their vows and cameras will heading with them to the altar in a 90-minute special E! special airing February 5 at 8:00pm ET/PT, Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding. From wedding plans, Lance's "borderline tacky" taste, incredible rings, a star-studded guest list, beautiful vows and lots of surprises, you'll be able to experience a behind-the-scenes look at this historical wedding. It will be the first time an American television network is broadcasting a celebrity wedding between two men!
"I could not be more excited right now. This is a day that you look forward to your whole, entire life. This is supposed to be the best day of your life and I can't believe it's happening right now," Lance confessed to E! News. "We are so excited, we've been waiting for awhile, we're beyond excited," added Michael.
On their wedding being referred to as the "gay wedding of the decade," Lance explained, "It's spectacular that people care that much, one just about our wedding, it's so special that people care. But two, that people are so excited about a gay wedding." He went on, "To know that people are excited to see something like this go down just shows you how much things have changed and we're just honored to be a part of that change."
The husbands-to-be hope that their wedding will be a beacon of hope for kids struggling to accept their sexuality. "As a little kid from Mississippi, I would have loved to have seen something like this on my television because there's a lot of little kids out there in small towns that need something like this," Lance added.
And to answer the question you've all been wondering? Yes! There will be a ‘N Sync reunion!
Lance happily admitted, "Of course the boys are going to be there, unfortunately Justin's not going to be able to go because that's his last date on tour and I had no idea he'd be touring right next to Christmas. He'll be the only guy not able to make it that day." He went on, "I couldn't imagine getting married without those boys being right there!"
Talk about a Merry Christmas!
