LANGHAM HUNTINGTON UNVEILS NEW CHUAN SPA

Bethany Joy Lenz

The Langham Huntington unveiled its luxurious new Chuan Spa with a star-studded evening. The invitation-only soiree was attended by Los Angeles and Pasadena tastemakers as well as Hollywood celebrities from popular TV shows including Pretty Little Liars, Dexter, and Vampire Diaries.

The celebrated evening highlighted the unique offerings at the spa with demonstrations from Mistral LHE, PRIORI®, Kerstin Florian, HydraFacial MD®, Deborah Lippmann and La Bella Donna that took place in the Salon area. Guests enjoyed hand massages, make-up refreshers, eye de-puffers, and cutting-edge laser demos. Fans of Chuan Spa included Melody Thornton who loved testing the Mistral LHE and raved about the company’s Neova product line. Bethany Joy Lenz took advantage of being pampered at the event with a Deborah Lippmann hand massage. She also discovered her Chuan element by filling out the five element questionnaire that determines whether you are wood, fire, earth, metal or water. Following the event, Bethany enjoyed a casual dinner with her daughter at the hotel’s Terrace restaurant that overlooks the pool.

During the evening, guests dined on light bites from the Chuan Lifestyle menu including Roasted Sweet Corn Bisque, Asian Mushroom Ramen, Trio of Carrot and sipped healthy juice shots from Pressed Juicery that will be available at the spa.

The event featured a silent auction that benefitted the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund where guests bid on luxe prizes including gift sets from Kerstin Florian, PRIORI®, ZIRH, Mistral LHE products and Deborah Lippmann as well as a private shopping party at JOIE, “A Day in the Sun” package with swimwear from Gottex and Ondademar as well as overnight packages featuring spa treatments at Chuan Spas around the world at The Langham, London; The Langham, Melbourne; The Langham, Xintiandi in Shanghai; The Langham Place, Mongkok in Hong Kong; The Langham, Chicago and The Langham Huntington in Pasadena.

The Langham Huntington was proud to raise more than $4,000 from the silent auction!
