I, FRANKENSTEIN --- Lakeshore Records just released the I, FRANKENSTEIN – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally and on CD. The soundtrack features ten songs written and performed by By Maker, featuring Geno Lenardo (Filter, Device) and Daniel Davies (Year Long Disaster). I, FRANKENSTEIN, the movie, will be in theaters on January 24.

By Maker is the collaboration between Geno Lenardo and Daniel Davies originally conceived for the movie. Lenardo was the guitarist of Filter from 1995-2002. No stranger to writing songs for film, he contributed to the Underworld: Rose Of The Lycans with string writing for the Alkaline Trio song “Over and Out” and additional programming for The Cure’s “Underneath the Stars.”

He also contributed several original tracks to the Underworld: Awakening soundtrack, including “Heavy Prey” in collaboration with Flyleaf singer Lacey Sturm. In 2012 Lenardo joined David Draiman of Disturbed and formed Device – whose debut album was released in the spring of 2013.

From the co-writer of the hit supernatural saga, UNDERWORLD, comes the action thriller I, FRANKENSTEIN based on the Darkstorm Studios graphic novel I, Frankenstein created by Kevin Grevioux. The story is brought to life by a cast that includes Aaron Eckhart, Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, and Aden Young as Victor Frankenstein.

CLOSING NOTES: Wednesday’s People’s Choice Awards were fun (Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs hosted); but, notice how many CBS-stars picked up awards? The one question that even the winners kept asking was who exactly are the people who voted?

Performer Keith Paisley performed right out in the audience which was a little awkward and when Heidi Klum (of all people) took off his hat and put it on, Paisley returned to the stage sans hat. Without that hat, he looked like a totally different performer.

Sandra Bullock, who picked up 4 awards, was beautiful, gracious and a terrific addition to the show …

Sunday is the 71st Golden Globes presentation. Should be a great show, if Christian Bale doesn't win everything he’s up for, I'll be very shocked … Clint Eastwood’s first images of his Jersey Boys-directed movie have just hit. The movie features Broadway’s Donnie Kehr (The Who’s Tommy; Billy Elliot; Aida; Human Comedy, Edwin Drood), who first originated his role of Norm Waxman, in the play. The trailer looks great ….

It’s hard to tell how New Jersey’s Governor Chris Christie will come out of the year’s first legitimate scandal, dubbed Bridgegate. Me, I always liked Christie’s blustery bully-ness and was surprised as anyone that this happened at all. There’s always traffic in Jersey, getting in and getting out.

I wasn't present at the so-called point-of-impact, but, honestly, it looked like every other travel snarl there. I think there’s been a bit of a rush to judgment here; especially considering everything he’s has done. Let’s wait and see. With some 900+ pages of legitimate notes forthcoming, something definitely happened there.
