Fall is my very favorite time of the year at Dune Point Fire Island. Nothing beats a vacation when the weather is sunny during the day and a nice cold chill during the night.

Everyone that reads Times Square Gossip, knows that we love our off season vacations to Dune Point. Owners Petra Brehl and Rick Dugas are less stressed and everyones mom Soňa Pavlasová Česká who arrives from the Czeck republic to hold court at the famed Boutique Guest House, always has something cooking in the kitchen for all of us. 

September is a magical time of year In Cherry Grove Fire Island. We celebrate Christmas and Halloween as well as all the holidays we miss in the winter. This is fall in Cherry Grove. We barbecue on the ocean and the summer breeze brings the music from the famed dance club Cherry's On The Bay.

Cherry's owners, Donna Bianco and Jacque Piazza always have a surprise in store for fall guests. DJ Susan Levine is still on the island spinning and the newest addition to the restaurant scene Sandcastle on the ocean is still cooking up a storm. Famed Drink Master Uncle Johny AKA Johny Pool, from Z100's Elvis Duran And The Morning Show is still holding court at Cherry's and you never know what celebrity will show up to watch the sunset.

Daniel Nardicio still has his famed Underwear parties at the Ice Palace and his icon series at the dance club has had everyone from Liza Minnelli to Chita Rivera. The stars keep coming out for Daniel's legendary events.
