As a spokesperson, she met hundreds of women and heard their stories yet there was not enough room to fit them all in the magazine, which is where her concept of Over 40 Females was born.

“I wanted to bring the pages of More Magazine to life, to give every woman a chance to be heard and connect with each other in person to advance their personal lives and careers with the motto "Connect, Encourage and Inspire."

Judy then introduced guest speaker Ojinika Obiekwe, producer and correspondent for WPIX11 morning news in New York who gave a “Be Inspired” talk. Obiekwe, who had always wanted to be a writer, spoke about being born and raised in Nigeria and how she successfully pursued her dreams to become a journalist.
