Megan Fox is on the cover of Esquire’s February issue, which hits stands January 22nd, and the new mom opens up about why she chose to have her Marilyn Monroe tattoo removed and why she doesn’t want to end up like Lindsay Lohan:

“I started reading about her and realized that her life was incredibly difficult. It’s like when you visualize something for your future. I didn’t want to visualize something so negative….She was sort of like Lindsay. She was an actress who wasn’t reliable, who almost wasn’t insurable….She had all of the potential in the world, and it was squandered. I’m not interested in following in those footsteps.”

She also opens up about growing up in the church, speaking in tongues, and the price of fame.
