Lucky, the magazine about shopping, hosts LUCKY SHOPS 2012, New York’s ultimate shopping event, in partnership with American Express®. Now in its ninth year, LUCKY SHOPS has become the benchmark for all shopping events, bringing the pages of the magazine to life with a unique mix of established and up-and-coming designer brands at a variety of price points. Lucky’s team of experts have carefully edited and selected their favorite fashions, shoes, jewelry and more with items selling at up to 70% off retail. Shoppers will also enjoy music, refreshments, giveaways and much more!

LUCKY SHOPS will kick-off its three-day event with an exclusive VIP shopping experience, hosted by two-time Grammy® Award-winning recording artist Jennifer Hudson. 

Guests will also enjoy complimentary mini-makeovers provided by Maybelline New York Color Studio and have their picture snapped for an on-site interactive media wall. In addition, attendees can experience the Sole Society shoe lounge to shop the season’s hottest footwear and enter to win an hourly giveaway.

A portion of proceeds from LUCKY SHOPS sales will benefit The Julian D. King Gift Foundation. This non-profit organization, created by LUCKY SHOPS host Jennifer Hudson in memory of her beloved nephew Julian, provides stability, support and positive experiences for children of all backgrounds to help enable them to grow to be productive, confident and happy adults.
