William Asher
William Asher, the talented writer and director of such hit Television shows as I Love Lucy, Bewitched, Gidget and Our Miss Brooks, died yesterday in Palm Springs California, according to media reports. He was 90 years old.
Lucille Ball's daughter Lucie Arnaz Luckinbill, had this to say on her Facebook page:
Sending thousands of angels to guide home our dear darling Bill Asher to now live only in pure, endless, unconditional love. Thank you, Bill, for all the magic you sprinkled on Mom and Dad and Viv and Bill. They could not have done it without your genius and your support. Where would "I Love Lucy" have been without you? Thank goodness we never have to find out.
