The stalkTALK Cast

New York University Tisch School of the Arts Alumni and youngest TONY-nominated Producer in Broadway history Rachel Annette Helson will bring stalkTALK, a new comedy series to the web beginning Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Helson, who also created, co-wrote and acted in the series, and her producing partner Wendelin von Schroder, also an NYU Tisch Alumni, will launch the pilot on www.stalkTALK.tv through their production company Bombshell Productions LLC.

stalkTALK centers on a rehabilitation group for recovering celebrity stalkers that operates its meetings using the same model as Alcoholics Anonymous. These court-ordered group therapy sessions are funded by a fictional organization, Celebrities Against Celebrity Stalkers, commonly called CACS (pronounced KACKS). stalkTALK explores the lives of six quirky, and at times delusional, celebrity stalkers and their ever-comedic antics on their rocky road to recovery. The six lead stalkers are part of the rehabilitation group for stalking: David Hasselhoff, Larry David, Lindsay Lohan, Pee-wee Herman, Chuck Norris and Ann Coulter, respectively.

The series boasts several impressive resumes including co-writer Suzanne Gangursky (“The Nanny,” “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,”) musical team Paul Buckley and Jack Diamond (“Seinfeld,” “Will and Grace,”) director David Ruttura (Associate Director of Broadway’s White Christmas and Lombardi,) actors Peter Gray Lewis (“Mad Men, ““Stone,” “Untraceable,”) Brad Schmidt (Lombardi, “Summerland,”) as well as a cast that includes Wendelin von Schoder, Meaghan Oppenheimer, Paige Howard, Matthew Quinn Forbes, Islean Kirker and Jonathan O’ Brien.

Launching March 30, 2011, stalkTALK will air a new episode every Wednesday and utilize social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook to provide a more interactive experience for the online viewer including individual Twitter pages for each stalker where fans can communicate with the characters. Bombshell Productions LLC. recently partnered with social media marketing and PR company LeapFrog Interactive as the official sponsor on the project.

“As can be seen with the recent partnership between Netflix, Kevin Spacey and David Fincher, the traditional network television model is changing, and Bombshell Productions is working to be on the forefront of the new media entertainment,” said Helson, who was nominated for the TONY Award for her work on Neil LaBute’s reasons to be pretty. “The internet and social media in general give young people, like me, an opportunity to create our own content, the way we want, and distribute it ourselves. It’s an exciting time, and stalkTALK is just the beginning.”
