Spiegel, the iconic American Women's fashion company, is proud to announce the Christian Siriano Dress Collection for Spiegel, launching April 4, 2011 on spiegel.com, but viewers also have the opportunity to pre-order live on the site on Thursday, February 17th. The collection of ten fashion-forward, accessible looks showcases and enforces Spiegel's commitment to offering luxury design to all women.


For over 125 years, Spiegel has been the fashion resource for stylish women across the country, offering high quality wardrobe staples and on-trend pieces at affordable prices. The brand¹s Signature Style system offers women a fun, interactive, and easy way to identify their individual style from one of the six Spiegel Signature Styles. Utilizing a set of questions that encompass everything from must-have accessories to home design aesthetics and favorite color, the system aligns every woman with her fashion profile and then suggests Spiegel items and collections that she will love.

For Spring/Summer 2011, Spiegel wanted a high-fashion designer on board to create a special collection of dresses ­ dresses for all Signature Styles and occasions. The Spiegel team had watched Christian Siriano, rising fashion world superstar, since his first NY Fashion Week show. When Spiegel CEO Geralynn Madonna met the designer, she knew instantly he was the perfect fit for the brand, due in large part to his appreciation for and celebration of the female form and his desire to bring good fashion to all women.

The Christian Siriano Dress Collection for Spiegel includes eight unique dresses, a tailored suit, a jacket, and a shawl ­ all exclusive to Spiegel. Each look was created with a different occasion in mind. From sheaths for the office and date night to a perfect maxi in teal with bead detail and an all-out glam evening gown, the line has something for every woman and every occasion. The Signature Dress for the collection is a take-no-prisoners, made-to-order black tie mini with cascading organza ruffles. Siriano focused on the trends of the season while creating the collection. The bulk of the line will retail between $49 to $599. Christian Siriano for Spiegel's collection will be available for a limited time exclusively on Spiegel.com.

25-year-old fashion ingénue Christian Siriano has studied under design legends Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs, and the late Alexander McQueen. His celebrity clients include Rihanna, Rosario Dawson, Christina Hendricks, Victoria Beckham, Lady GaGa, Heidi Klum, Emmy Rossum and Alexis Bledel, among others. The Christian Siriano collection is sold at retailers across America including Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue and internationally his looks can be found in countries from Kuwait to Dubai. Siriano has also proven his skill with makeup, collaborating on a line for Victoria's Secret, and was tapped to design a full couture collection to appear in the film Eloise in Paris, starring Uma Thurman. In March of 2010 Christian was voted as one of Crain's New York's 30 Under 30. This February he will show his Fall/Winter 2011 collection during New York's Mercedez-Benz fashion week at Lincoln Center. This will be Siriano's sixth consecutive showing at New York Fashion Week.
