With this weekend’s oppressive heat and humidity, we decided to forgo our planned jaunt to the beach to scout locations with producer Phil Michas and director Joey MHZ for a planned reality show featuring my boss Times Square Gossip Editor James Edstrom. Instead, we convened on a local institution, The Driver’s Seat Restaurant to fuel up for hitting the streets and checking out some old faves as well as the new kids on the block on Southampton Village’s tony shopping meccas – Job’s Lane and Main Street. Our gracious host proprietor Irma Herzog had the Prosecco chilled upon our arrival with which our pal Sidii Belqaid kept our glasses filled as we settled in for lunch in air-conditioned splendor! Gorging ourselves on the juiciest hamburgers, cheese oozing quesadillas, spicy barbecued pulled pork sliders and fresh off the boat fish & chips, we felt ready to tour the tony enclave to film B roll for what is sure to be a reality first. The big cameras get rolling in two weeks to film the adventures and mis-adventures of one of New York's best photographers. We just hope the world is ready for some real reality!
