Mr. Baldwin’s donation originates from the proceeds of his advertising campaign for Capital One Bank’s Venture Rewards credit card. He has earmarked all of the proceeds from the promotion to the funding of arts and cultural organizations. An active supporter of the East Hampton Library, Mr. Baldwin serves as Honorary Co-Chair of the East Hampton Library’s Children’s Addition Committee and is the Co-Founding Chair of the library’s popular annual Authors Night fundraising event. Guests enjoyed mini bottles of champagne Nicolas Feuillatte in their hotel rooms and plenty of the same bubbly at the opening night party on Thursday night at East Hampton Point, at Wolffer Estate on Friday night for the filmmakers party and at the chairman's reception Saturday afternoon (Chairman of the Festival is Stewart Match Suna, owner of Silvercup Studios in NYC: he opened his house for an afternoon of festivities involving lots of Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne, rosé and brut served high style after being sabered). Festivities continued for the closing party at Race Lane restaurant following the Golden Starfish Awards where Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte honored the winners with a bottle of the special Palmes d'Or Champagne. The scene is marked by a desperate sense of squeezing the most out of the last days for group shareholders and summer renters.
