RITA COSBY HOSTS QUIET HERO BOOK BASH
Best-selling author Rita Cosby signed books and shared harrowing and inspiring stories of her father's past at the historic Kosciuszko Foundation headquarters in Manhattan this week. Cosby's book was just released and called Quiet Hero: Secrets From My Father's Past. The elegant affair brought out models, TV talkers, and Polish-Americans from the tri-state area. Cosby's father was a teenager when he joined the Polish Resistance and fought against the Nazis in his homeland. Some of the proceeds from the fascinating book are going toward two museums in Warsaw, including one where the Jewish Ghetto once stood.
