POLICE INVESTIGATE ACTOR TOM SIZEMORE

Troubled former star Tom Sizemore is at the center of a police probe, amid allegations he stole pens and cellphones from a Los Angeles California store last week. Staff at a Verizon Wireless store in have handed cops video footage of two men, one of whom strongly resembles actor Sizemore, carrying out the heist. Los Angeles Police Department tells TMZ.com Sizemore is under investigation, but his lawyer assures the website the Black Hawk Down star is "innocent until proven guilty." Sizemore has a very long police record. The star in 2003 was convicted of assaulting his then girlfriend, Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss. Two years later he was jailed for failing drug tests while on probation; and in May 2007 he was arrested for possession of drugs at a California hotel.
