The Jerry Springer Singer Search
Our good friend Jerry Springer and the team at the "The Jerry Springer Show" want the American TV audience to give them their best shot with a song in the first-ever "Springer Singer Search." The nationally syndicated talk show, currently in its 18th season, is asking viewers to create their own original song about "The Jerry Springer Show" and send it to the show’s website JerrySpringer.Com or to "The Jerry Springer Show." "Give us your best shot America. We want to see your version of 18 seasons “The Jerry Springer Show” put to music," says Springer. "Think of all the wild and crazy characters and topics that you have at your fingertips on this one> ...you’ll be everyone’s idol." Three finalists will be flown to Chicago and the Grand Prize winner of the "Springer Singer Search" will win $5,000. All that is required is that the music and lyrics are original and about "The Jerry Springer Show." Each contestant must create a video of their original song and submit it through www.jerryspringertv.com, or via regular mail on DVD. All mail submissions should be sent care of "The Jerry Springer Show, Springer Singer Search" to 454 North Columbus Drive, Chicago, Illinois, 60611. Entries will be judged on originality, knowledge of the show, creativity and musical talent. The contest is open to legal, permanent U.S. residents physically residing within the 48 contiguous United States or District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older, from 11 p.m. EST March 5th through 11:59 p.m. EST March 31, 2009. The submissions will be viewed and judged by the staff of the show and 10 semi-finalists will be chosen from all the entries. Beginning April 10th, the top 10 songs chosen by the shows staff will be made available on www.jerryspringertv.com Tell Them Times Square Gossip Sent You !
