Pop singing icon Elton John is set to perform a huge New Year’s Eve celebration concert in London.The star will belt out an selection of his classic hits in front of 17,000 fans at the O2 Arena in the English capital. Celebrity photographer David LaChapelle will produce the concert, which comes a year after British boyband Take That staged a similar event at the famous venue. Sir Elton says, "I can’t wait to spend New Year’s Eve with 17,000 of my biggest fans."

Saw him in concert in 1971 and was stunned at his piano playing... with his toes! Very talented man. I later took a liking to his voice, as well.
