The American Mall” tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The movie musical, from the executive producers of “High School Musical,” unleashes the ultimate mall experience with the DVD and soundtrack release on Tuesday, August 12, an exclusive virtual screening party, a dedicated site for all things “The American Mall” and bonus features offered on MTV On Demand. In addition, MTV Tr3s will air a simulcast with MTV on Tuesday, August 12 at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT. For die-hard fans who want to “get their rock on” by learning the dance steps and singing the music, “The American Mall” DVD and soundtrack will be available in stores on Tuesday, August 12 – the day following the premiere on MTV. Distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment, the DVD will offer special features such as an extended edition, deleted scenes, music videos – including a special number by the Janitors – and dance instructional with choreographer Bonnie Story for two musical numbers. “The American Mall” soundtrack is a MTV release and features 10 songs as heard in the movie and is distributed by RED Marketing/Distribution.
