GQ MAGAZINE TO HONOR TONY BENNETT

Singing legend Tony Bennett will be honored as one of GQ magazine’s Men of The Year at a gala tribute in London on September 3rd. The icon, who turned 82 years old this month, will fly to London England for the huge tribute. News of the honor tops off a great birthday month for Tony, who recently sold his Times Square in the Rain painting for $50,000 to benefit the Zimmer Children’s Museum in Los Angeles California. This man is a saint and is what New York City is all about.
Editors Note: I have been photographing Tony for many years around New York City. He lives up the block. Tony is always nice and believe it or not, the last time I was in his building, he arrived in a sweatsuit, just back from the gym. Can you believe this 82 year old icon works out everyday? Well he does !
