
Toxic singer Britney Spears will fight till the end with Mariah Carey and Rihanna at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, after they were all nominated for Best Female Video. Spears’ Piece of Me promo is named alongside Carey’s Touch My Body, Rihanna’s Take A Bow, Katy Perry’s I Kissed A Girl, and Jordin Sparks’ No Air duet with Chris Brown. Meanwhile, in the Best Male Video category, rap hits Low by Flo Rida, Lollipop by Lil Wayne and T.I.’s No Matter What will compete against tracks by R&B stars Chris Brown and Usher, whose songs With You and Love In This Club respectively, are also in the running for the award. The Best Male and Female Video nominees were announced on Friday, and the full list of VMA nominees is to be unveiled in the coming weeks.The 25th VMAs is due to take place at the Paramount Pictures Studios in Hollywood on September 7th, and will be hosted by British comedian Russell Brand.
