Billy Joel's Last Stand


Musician Billy Joel performs one of his last two shows at Shea Stadium during "The Last Play at Shea" show last night at Flushing Meadows in New York City. Billy will be the last musical act to play there as the Met's are moving to a new venue and the famous arena is closing. The first group to play there was the Beatles.

It is fitting and just that Sir Paul McCartney perform this evening with Billy Joel to complete the musical journey that began at Shea Stadium in 1965.
