The private school preppy look was in all over town this week in the ultra exclusive Hampton's. Guests at the Southampton Inn got an unexpected treat when the cast and crew of CW11’s ultra-hot series “Gossip Girl” checked in for a couple of days while shooting scenes for their second season. Hottie Chace Crawford and cast mates Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester had the teens in the lobby swooning. A nearby estate, up the road from Cooper’s Beach ranked the #3 beach in the world, provided indoor and outdoor locales for the Hampton's home of Crawford’s rich kid character Nate Archibald. Chace spent some buddy time with young actor on the rise, Southampton’s Emanuel Sylvano. Sylvano, who played Vanessa's cousin in the season finale, is slated for the lead in a new Spanish soap opera set in the Hampton's created by Brian Alesssandro and Tony Vargas got some acting tips from Crawford in exchange for tips on the area’s hottest spots. A group of Trinity, Seminary, Buckley, and Spence students – "Gossip Girl" prototypes all, with their own gossip networks - made reservations at the Inn’s new restaurant OSO to try and catch a glimpse of the stars, but alas the boys had headed off to Coopers Beach. The young stars had lunch together in the Coopers’ parking lot, where the show had set up their catering. “There were tons of girls in bikinis calling out Chace's name,” said Sylvano. “He’s a really nice guy and took photos with all of them. But, who wouldn’t mind that?”
