THE PALM WEST ALWAYS CELEBRITY PACKED

Mayor Antonion Villaraigosa and Paris Hilton at The Palm's Hollywood location

As we sat at New York City's Broadway PALM WEST last night on West 50th street with their affable PR-master DAVID SALIDOR (the Pasha!), we couldn't help by notice it was packed! Even though it was the start of President's Week! The wonderful managers LARRY BRYANT and ANDREW TOBIN came by and asked if we needed anything, and we caught a brief glimpse of GM CHRIS GILMAN, as he flew by, no doubt attending to a serious matter at the West Side chop-shop. Then, we ordered our TIMESSQUAREGOSSIP favorite, the Baked Clams! Salidor mentioned that the 4th NYC-outpost of the restaurant will open in the Fall, Downtown on Chambers Street ... begging the question: Can NY sustain 4 Palm restaurants? "Why not?," added The Pasha. "Great food, great service, great times ... NYC deserves more Palm ... and, why not downtown? Its really become quite the destination spot, with clubs and all back in vogue ... and, totally re-energized. It'll be an instant hit ... mark my words!" Salidor also mentioned that the restaurant will roll-out a series of new cocktails in the Spring ... in fact, a major photo shoot occurred at the West Side-spot last week, where Palm-major-domo BRUCE BOZZI, JR. attended as well as taking part in the shoot itself. Also, an outpost in England may well be a reality by the summer. We also looked around at the many caricatures on the Wall .... we saw JERRY ORBACH; CINDY ADAMS; MICKY DOLENZ; celeb-author MARK BEGO; SANDY GALLIN; JUDGE JUDY and hubby JERRY; DAVID GEFFEN; and, many, many more. Salidor said that being thick in the Theater scene, one can eyeball many Great White Way-partricipants. "There's a reason The Palm has survived and thrived," adds Salidor, "Its a great concept of food, service, and atmosphere." We couldn't agree more.
