AMY WINEHOUSE BACK TO HER OLD WAYS
Rehab singer and Grammy winner Amy Winehouse has refused to let hotel maids into her executive suite at London’s Riverbank Plaza Hotel, where she has been staying since she left rehab. But when they finally got into her room on Wednesday they were shocked with what they discovered. A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: "Staff finally got into the room while Amy was at the BRITs. It was carnage. It was covered in alcohol and cigarette butts, absolutely disgusting. The bed had not been changed since the day she arrived. There was dirty underwear everywhere and the place smelt incredibly stale. They have already had to replace part of the wooden floor, which cost six thousand alone. Who knows what the total bill will be." Amy, who had been staying at the hotel with her photographer friend Blake Wood, had also taken a mirror off the wall and laid it on the ground, which is sparking concern she is still taking drugs as mirrors are used to snort cocaine. The source added: "The mirror was on the floor. One can only guess what that was for. She had also taken down all the pictures. She had obviously dyed her black beehive and the bath had to be scrubbed and unblocked from matted hair balls. It took three maids two hours to get the place into a habitable order." Yesterday Amy arrived looking tired and dishevelled following two nights of partying for an emotional meeting with her husband Black Fielder-Civil at London’s Pentonville Prison. A source said: "Amy arrived at the prison looking a bit of a mess. She had bags under her eyes and her make-up was smudged. It was obvious she’d been up all night drinking. She was in tears as she spoke to Blake. He looked as though he was crying too. It was a very tense conversation." Blake is awaiting trial on charges of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and grievous bodily harm.
