The Dark horror and thriller "No Country For Old Men' was the big winner at the star studded Academy Awards in Hollywood California last night,after getting four of the eight awards the film was nominated for. Besides being named Best Motion Picture, siblings Joel and Ethan Coen picked up the night’s Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay statues, with Javier Bardem going home with the Best Supporting Actor honor for his portrayal of the film’s crazy psychotic killer, Anton Chigurh.The Bourne Ultimatum was a triple winner, collecting accolades for Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing and Best Film Editing. There Will Be Blood and La Vie En Rose were double winners.It was also a great night for Europe with Irishman Daniel Day-Lewis, French actress Marion Cotillard and Brit Tilda Swinton joining Spaniard Bardem in a clean sweep of the night’s acting awards.
