IT'S A HUGE BABY BOOM AT CEDARS SINAI

Simple Life television star Nicole Richie has given birth. The new mom checked out of Cedars Sinai Medical Center just hours after giving birth to baby daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden on Friday. A representative for Richie and the baby’s father, rocker Joel Madden, has confirmed the "ecstatic parents" left the star studded Los Angeles hospital on Friday evening. Baby Harlow weighed six pounds seven ounces when she was born and the rep insists the baby is "beautiful" and "healthy". It was a very busy 24 hours for celebrity deliveries at the medical center. Hollywood actress Courtney Thorne-Smith gave birth to a baby boy on Thursday and comedian David Alan Grier welcomed a baby daughter into the world at the same hospital. Christina Aguilera also reportedly went into labor on Friday and was also taken to Cedars Sinai . The singer is believed to have given birth her first child with husband Jordan Bratman by Cesarean section at around 4pm on Friday afternoon but details of the birth have yet to be released to the media. According to E! the couple announced the happy event to friends and family by sending a text message which read, "Baby has arrived. Mom and dad are doing well!" The pair - who married in 2005 - was said to be considering the names Jackson Jake and Max for their son.
