CHARGES DROPPED ON AMY WINEHOUSE

Rehab singer Amy Winehouse will not face any charges for a bribery plot involving her jailed husband Blake Fielder Civil.The troubled singer was released on bail in December after turning herself in at a London police station for questioning on the suspicion of perverting the course of justice.Fielder-Civil is currently being held on remand at London’s Pentonville Prison and is awaiting trial on a similar charge after he attempted to fix the outcome of his trial for grievous bodily harm. He is alleged to have assaulted bartender James King in June last year,and stands accused of trying to pay off King with $400,000. Meanwhile, Fielder-Civil has been placed in solitary confinement after prison guards found him getting drunk behind bars and making phone calls on a cell phone he had smuggled into the jail, reports London's The News Of The World.
